Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, resilient, and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate services with enterprise applications.
- Document APIs using Swagger and OpenAPI.
- Deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on Azure or AWS.
- Work with relational databases and perform performance tuning of queries and services.
- Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, code reviews, automated testing, and collaboration with product, QA, and architecture teams.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java, object-oriented design, multithreading, collections, and design patterns.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience building RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise applications.
- Experience with Azure or AWS and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Database experience with DB2, Oracle, and Azure SQL Server, including performance tuning.
- Strong Agile Scrum team experience and experience with JUnit and Mockito.
- High school diploma or GED.
