Base Salary
$185k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead complex MVR features through ideation, technical design, implementation, release, and ongoing operation.
- Define technical direction and architectural improvements for reliable, scalable MVR systems.
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services focused on data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Integrate external data providers and build resilient pipelines for inconsistent, delayed, or incomplete data.
- Identify systemic risks, lead incident response and root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Partner with Product, Data Supply Chain, Supply Chain Operations, and Business Operations on scalable solutions.
- Mentor engineers and improve code quality, design reviews, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, with deep understanding of relational databases, ORMs, and RESTful APIs.
- Proven experience designing and maintaining reliable distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, CI/CD, and asynchronous or event-driven architectures.
- Experience integrating external data providers or third-party APIs and managing inconsistent, delayed, or incomplete data.
- Ability to reason about end-to-end platforms and make architectural trade-offs.
- Strong ownership and communication skills with technical and non-technical partners.
