Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver machine learning models and components for business problems in collaboration with Product and Data Science teams.
- Make ML infrastructure decisions involving model selection, data, features, training, hyperparameter tuning, dimensionality, bias and variance, and validation.
- Write and test application code, develop and validate ML models, and automate testing and deployment.
- Build and enhance software for large-scale data and machine learning applications.
- Retrain, maintain, and monitor models in production.
- Build or leverage cloud-based architectures and platforms to deliver optimized ML models at scale.
- Construct optimized data pipelines for ML model training and use.
- Apply deployment, test automation, monitoring, governance, and responsible and explainable AI practices.
- Develop ML solutions using Python, Scala, or Java.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 4 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 4 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.
- At least 4 years of experience using and operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark or Ray for AI/ML data preparation.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying and operating ML solutions in production and operating cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure using Kubernetes.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s or doctoral degree, 3+ years optimizing ML algorithms and infrastructure, and 3+ years applying software development and production resilience practices.
- Preferred experience includes ML techniques and architectures such as supervised, semi-supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning; regression, classification, clustering, RNNs, CNNs, LSTMs, and Transformers.
- Preferred qualifications include 3+ years designing and scaling production-ready ML data pipelines, 1+ year as a technical lead, and authorship or co-authorship of an ML-related paper.
