Base Salary
$60k - $85k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and lead product features from research and design through implementation, testing, and shipment.
- Lead engineering architecture and establish standards for code quality, testing, and development practices.
- Mentor engineers on AI-native workflows and define effective patterns for AI-assisted development.
- Talk directly with customers and translate vague requirements into polished user experiences.
- Design scalable backend systems and build responsive frontend interfaces.
- Drive architectural decisions and engineering processes that maximize AI-assisted development velocity.
- Write maintainable, testable code with minimal oversight in a high-urgency environment.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of professional backend-leaning full-stack experience at a product-first company or FAANG-level environment.
- Experience building across schema design, backend APIs, and accessible, pixel-perfect frontend experiences.
- Meaningful end-to-end ownership of a product module, infrastructure refactor, or major feature launch.
- Deep proficiency with Claude Code, including its Interactive, Plan, Headless, Agent Teams, and Delegate modes.
- Recent experience shipping meaningful projects where AI coding tools were the primary development environment.
- Strong systems thinking, architectural judgment, and ability to review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Experience with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GCP, React, TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, state management, testing frameworks, and product analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, communicate with customers, and apply strong product and user-experience judgment.
- Bonus experience includes autonomous agents, generative media, early-stage startups, internal tools, design systems, technical leadership, side projects, or open-source contributions.
