Base Salary

$155k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software solutions for a rates derivatives and electronic trading platform.
  • Own assignments from requirements gathering through rollout.
  • Implement business logic, new services, maintenance fixes, QA automation, and framework development.
  • Drive software design and architecture excellence and promote development best practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Define strategies to optimize software development processes and workflows.
  • Provide strategic direction and long-term objectives for the software engineering function.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Strong Core Java development experience; JDK 21+ is beneficial.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and a mixture of new and legacy systems.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor within a team.
  • Fixed-income domain knowledge.
  • Swaps experience is preferred.
  • Previous eTrading experience with B2C exchanges such as Tradeweb or Bloomberg is desired.
  • Previous algorithm development experience is desired but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn and work with technologies such as Python and Scala.
  • Exposure to AMP, Claude Code, or similar AI tools is beneficial.
