Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor software engineers delivering ServiceNow professional services projects.
- Gather systems requirements from end users and stakeholders for SecOps applications.
- Customize ServiceNow applications and configure user interfaces, workflows, business logic, and new platform modules.
- Build ServiceNow integrations with other applications using REST, SOAP, mid servers, cloud-to-cloud connections, and bidirectional automation.
- Support service mapping, impact assessment rules, event management work, stakeholder validation, and user acceptance testing.
- Promote update sets and data across applicable ServiceNow environments and remediate related production incidents.
- Create technical designs, operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and user documentation.
- Guide customers in translating business requirements into technical ServiceNow solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, or development of ServiceNow SecOps.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow SecOps, Platform, Service Catalog, custom applications, and workflows.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using mid servers and cloud-to-cloud methods.
- Experience with SOAP, REST, bidirectional integrations, automated integrations, JDBC, ODBC, or ETL integrations.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
- Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
- A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, or demonstrated work experience.
- Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation and ServiceNow CSA and CAD.
- Willingness and ability to complete ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations.
