Responsibilities
- Support customers after go-live of the Charles River Investment Management Solution.
- Define client requirements and configure, tune, test, and troubleshoot technical workflows.
- Develop and maintain Java and C# solutions and create, test, and correct inbound and outbound interfaces.
- Lead and manage multiple technical initiatives while maintaining project schedules.
- Gather and review functional and technical requirements with business analysts, project managers, team members, and customers.
- Serve as a technical expert on implementation and application-support projects.
- Perform ETL integration, messaging, application-server, and database administration tasks.
- Collaborate with Charles River Support and Product teams to determine optimal technical solutions.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess front-office trading experience.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the financial or software services industry is required; the posting also describes 3–5 years of hands-on financial-industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science, or a related qualification, is required.
- Experience with Java and C# programming, Windows and Unix/Linux, ETL tools, XML/XSLT, Tomcat, SOAP/XML messaging, RDBMS administration, and Perl.
- Knowledge of Kettle or Talend, SCM tools, ERDs, N-tier architecture, and messaging platforms is valued; Perforce is a plus.
- Strong preference is given to financial-services experience, consulting, OMS implementation, ETL-based system integration, Azure, and Snowflake experience.
- Ability to travel to client sites throughout the United States and Canada and work effectively when remote from clients.
- Strong customer interaction, communication, problem-solving, requirements-gathering, multitasking, and independent-work skills.
