Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated UI tests with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Build supporting test scripts and tools in Python where appropriate.
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and automated coverage.
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes with developers, and improve test coverage and automation efficiency.
- Automate API tests and build, run, and troubleshoot Docker test environments for application testing.
- Set up and maintain CI pipelines using Jenkins, Git-based tooling, or similar systems.
- Validate data flows from source systems to downstream destinations for completeness, correctness, and consistency.
- Generate test data and automate data checks and result validation at scale.
- Use Linux, Git, and AI tools in testing and automation work.
Requirements
- Hands-on QA experience with a strong focus on test automation.
- Practical experience building and maintaining automated tests with Playwright.
- Automation coding skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, with strong TypeScript or JavaScript skills for the application automation opening.
- Confidence using the Linux command line and Git, and translating requirements into effective test cases.
- Experience using AI tools to support testing and test automation.
- For application and API automation: API testing experience and hands-on Docker skills, including building images, running containers, and debugging.
- For the real-time data testing opening: 3–6 years of QA experience, source-to-destination data validation experience, working knowledge of SQL and JSON, and the ability to automate data checks using Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Nice-to-have experience includes data processing or cataloging products, industrial or IoT data, MQTT, Kafka, Kubernetes, performance or load testing, and CI pipeline setup.
