Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for the Distributed Cloud platform.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Validate complex distributed systems across multi-cloud environments.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Perform performance, scalability, and reliability testing for global-scale workloads.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and documentation.
- Participate in design and code reviews to build quality into the development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote test automation and quality assurance best practices.
- Investigate production issues and contribute to root cause analysis and remediation strategies.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of Quality Assurance experience, including at least 4 years focused on automation.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and APIs.
- Experience testing in cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or Gatling is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
