Base Salary
$160k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop features integrating Cribl’s data stream processing engine with Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage.
- Provision, build, and configure third-party technologies and accounts to support research and development.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software using NodeJS, TypeScript, and sometimes C++.
- Create test plans, automated tests, and integration tests to ensure product features work as expected.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and business teams to turn specifications into code.
- Provide feedback through feature design discussions and code reviews.
- Participate in a weekly 24/7 support on-call rotation and other standby or off-hours duties.
- Contribute to internal and external communities, documentation, and product-related blogs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience integrating third-party applications, libraries, and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
- Experience using and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, LDAP, or SAML is preferred.
- Comfort with substantial research and discovery before coding.
- Ability to build robust systems amid uncertainty.
- Experience with Agile processes and rapid iterative development.
- Strong ownership, quality focus, and ability to deliver high-performing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including explaining complex technical topics to internal and external stakeholders.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and products.
