Base Salary
$130k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain consistency across SaaS and PaaS environments and prevent configuration drift from becoming defects.
- Build agentic automation for bug triage, reproduction, routing, and resolution, including shipping fixes directly.
- Run repeatable bug bashes and improve automated testing coverage, CI signal, and flake rates.
- Own severity-weighted bug reporting, quality trends, hotspots, and communication with engineering leadership and customers.
- Partner directly with enterprise customers to improve issue reporting, fix validation, and release-readiness processes.
- Connect customer-reported issues to the tests or environment checks that should have detected them.
- Create and curate datasets for agent-quality evaluation.
- At higher scopes, define quality and automation standards, release practices, environment parity, and long-term quality strategy.
Requirements
- Production software engineering experience with the ability to write and ship code rather than only tests.
- Hands-on experience building test automation and CI quality gates that engineers rely on.
- Real-world use of AI or agentic tooling as part of engineering work.
- Experience working directly with customers or enterprise users on important issues.
- Ability to operate with ambiguity, own outcomes, and prioritize testing or automation without a predefined queue.
- Comfort working across application code, CI, and deployment environments.
- Preferred experience with Python, TypeScript, React, Postgres, Hasura, GraphQL, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Preferred experience with multi-tenant SaaS and single-tenant or self-managed enterprise deployments.
- Preferred infrastructure experience with AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform and observability experience with Datadog.
- Preferred experience building LLM-based agentic workflows, performance or load testing, and working in security, compliance, audit, accounting, financial services, or other regulated domains.
