Base Salary
$168k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate Ramp's multi-surface platform with a focus on reliability and developer experience.
- Create autonomous tooling and agents to accelerate API/MCP/CLI endpoint creation.
- Develop agent-first platform capabilities, including onboarding and monitoring for workflows.
- Ensure end-to-end observability for the platform, aligning MCP and CLI with core API standards.
- Lead complex backend projects from architecture to implementation in Python, Temporal, and Postgres.
- Facilitate distribution by making the platform the default for exposing new product capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Experience building APIs or developer-facing platforms.
- Passion for building solutions for agents.
- Strong instinct for improving developer experience.
- Proven ownership of technical and business outcomes in fast-paced settings.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding agents as a primary development tool.
- Comfort with agentic workflows and AI tooling.
