Base Salary
$114k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, re-engineer, and support SAP S/4HANA solutions, including Level 3 production support ownership.
- Build and deploy SAPUI5 and Fiori applications with role, catalog, group, and governed-extension configuration.
- Develop and consume OData services and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs for SAP-to-SAP and SAP-to-non-SAP integrations.
- Develop reusable object-oriented ABAP components, services, and objects using modern ABAP on HANA patterns, CDS views, AMDP, and performance-optimized SQL.
- Apply code reviews, static analysis, performance tuning, unit and integration testing, regression automation, and other quality practices.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, validating outputs for correctness, performance, security, and data sensitivity.
- Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver scalable enhancements and reliable services.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Strong hands-on enterprise SAP ABAP and SAP S/4HANA development experience, including CDS-based data modeling and performance tuning.
- Experience designing and consuming OData services and building REST and SOAP integrations.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying SAPUI5 and Fiori applications.
- Experience in Agile delivery teams, with analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and Level 3 production-support capabilities.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred: SAP S/4HANA implementation experience, clean-core extensibility, RAP, Fiori RAP patterns, SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Integration Suite, cloud operations, deployment automation, and automated testing frameworks such as ABAP Unit and test doubles.
