Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts while ensuring software implementations meet design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets, create visualizations and reports, and use identified patterns to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
- Support application testing, operational stability, resiliency, and secure software development within an agile team.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining Java code and using database querying languages in a large corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations, with the ability to guide peers.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile engineering practices.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, particularly React, is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
