Responsibilities
- Create code demos and sample applications to showcase Okta product features.
- Compose blog posts and videos on how developers can incorporate Okta into their identity solutions.
- Answer developer/integrator questions found on social media, forums, and comments made on Okta posts.
- Speak at technical events, support workshops/labs/hackathons, and lead conversations on identity.
- Utilize your 'developer zero' mindset to test product usage scenarios.
- Capture and drive feedback to respective product teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a developer, with experience in developer relations being a plus.
- Demonstrated proof of using AI in development environments.
- Strong technical understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, SDKs, and authentication/authorization protocols.
- Experience in server-side development, preferably with Java and/or .NET.
- Eager to create and share developer content online and at in-person events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
- Deep understanding of developer communities and forums, with active engagement.
- Self-driven and able to work well remotely while maintaining visibility.
- Known as a strong contributor and collaborator who takes initiative.
- Passionate about developer topics and enjoys helping others solve problems.
- Always learning and curious about developer trends.
