Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and architecture of large-scale distributed backend systems.
- Contribute to designing REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices.
- Champion the use of AI-powered coding tools to improve team productivity.
- Mentor engineers and conduct design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and establish observability standards.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to modernize the platform.
- Own software deliverables end-to-end, ensuring quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with AI teams to embed intelligence into governance services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in system-level languages like Javascript, C#, or Java.
- Full-stack experience with backend services and frontend layers.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming and architectural design patterns.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks like React or TypeScript.
- Strong grasp of multithreading and cloud-native programming models.
- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AI coding tools and driving team adoption of productivity tools.
- Familiarity with agile development, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed teams.
