Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python or Java for backend services and Angular or React for frontend interfaces.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices and integrate them with frontend components and data platforms.
- Integrate and query Snowflake data while optimizing data pipelines and storage for performance and reliability.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
- Apply security best practices, including data protection and secure authentication mechanisms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and stakeholders to deliver user-centric solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
- Participate in Agile practices including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience developing scalable web applications using Python or Java and Angular or React.
- Hands-on expertise building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience integrating and querying data from Snowflake or similar data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in Agile software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across the technology stack.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Windsurf and agentic coding workflows.
