Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for deploying machine learning models into manufacturing automation products.
- Manage the operational aspects of AI and machine learning projects, including scalable production deployment.
- Build infrastructure for data processing, model training, and inference at scale.
- Set up monitoring for model performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
- Automate end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data collection through monitoring.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure AI/ML systems address security, privacy, and data protection requirements.
- Tune, troubleshoot, and optimize models to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
- Evaluate and integrate tools for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Document processes, configurations, and performance metrics for deployed models.
- Develop incident response plans and scaling strategies for deployed AI/ML systems.
- Propose AI/ML solutions and improvements to address business challenges and operational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with significant focus on real-world machine learning deployments using vision and/or time-series data.
- Extensive experience with AI and machine learning tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Familiarity with manufacturing automation, including robotics, PLCs, automated NDT, and machine vision.
- Experience with AI edge deployments and integration into operational technology devices such as Simatic NPU.
- Experience with serverless computing frameworks and technologies.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database management systems such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with software development in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to innovate, adapt to changing technologies, build trust, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
