Responsibilities
- Review application architecture, authentication, authorization, tenant boundaries, and data flows for security weaknesses.
- Build and improve cloud identity, secrets management, application protections, and security checks.
- Investigate vulnerabilities, prioritize remediation, and verify fixes.
- Embed security checks and guidance into engineering workflows.
- Analyze security incidents and develop detection or prevention improvements.
- Partner with product engineers and compliance owners to implement tested technical controls.
Requirements
- Experience investigating and remediating real application or cloud security issues.
- Ability to read code, build tooling, and work with production systems.
- Ability to prioritize security risks based on impact and system usage.
- Ability to clearly explain security findings and fixes to engineers.
- Practical experience inspecting code and cloud systems, validating findings, and helping implement maintainable fixes.
- Preferred experience with cloud and identity security, enterprise SaaS or AI applications, cloud IAM, application security, threat modeling, or securing AI systems.
