Base Salary

$224k - $431k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own DevTech’s sim-to-real and real-to-sim function across experiment design, instrumentation, data capture, system identification, model integration, and hardware validation.
  • Build production-quality C++ and Python software for measurement, modeling, simulation, benchmarking, and regression testing.
  • Establish quantitative metrics and experiments to identify simulation errors and measure improvements in real systems.
  • Turn partner-robot evidence into reusable workflows and improvements for NVIDIA robotics and simulation platforms.
  • Lead multidisciplinary contributors through technical influence without formal reporting authority and remain accountable for integration and sustained use.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Controls, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A consequential technical project personally built, led, and maintained, with verifiable shipped impact and contribution.
  • End-to-end ownership of a hard-tech system in robotics, aerospace, automotive, industrial automation, scientific instrumentation, or a comparable field.
  • Expert C++ and Python software engineering knowledge grounded in dynamics, controls, system identification, numerical methods, applied mathematics, or related areas.

  • Base salary is determined by location, experience, and comparable employee pay; the stated ranges are $224,000-$356,500 for Level 5 and $272,000-$431,250 for Level 6.
