Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build state-of-the-art computer vision models for detection, segmentation, OCR, and reasoning over construction drawings.
- Own end-to-end pipelines covering data ingestion, labeling, training, evaluation, and low-latency inference.
- Improve model accuracy, robustness, and latency across more than 10,000 drawing formats.
- Deploy models to production and integrate them into customer-facing product features with full-stack and product teams.
- Analyze real customer data to identify, diagnose, and fix model failure modes.
- Apply relevant research findings pragmatically and measure their impact after shipping.
Requirements
- Deep computer vision and deep learning expertise, including segmentation, detection, document AI, or vision-language systems.
- Experience training machine learning models that have shipped to production.
- Experience putting ML systems into real products with real service-level agreements.
- Ability to work effectively with messy, crooked, scanned, handwritten, and otherwise noisy real-world drawings.
- Research-minded, execution-focused approach with the ability to evaluate and ship new architectures quickly.
- Ability to work with high autonomy and take ownership of model performance.
- Willingness to work full-time and in person in the San Francisco Bay Area.
