Base Salary
$68k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend applications and analytics solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead technical discussions with stakeholders.
- Develop application features, unit tests, and code meeting established coverage expectations.
- Support application testing, CI/CD deployment, production releases, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain technical designs and service specifications.
- Guide developers and contribute to functional and technical documentation standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with advanced proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting scalable backend applications in a cloud environment.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka or another enterprise messaging or queueing technology.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment with technical and business stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure experience, large-scale or distributed application design, cloud-based analytics architecture, monitoring and observability, and developer guidance.
