Base Salary

$144k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop AWS WorkSpaces services and software applications for accessing desktops and applications from any device.
  • Design and implement highly secure, available, scalable, distributed, multi-tiered, and multi-threaded systems.
  • Drive service development across locations and influence the team’s technical direction.
  • Work with distributed teams, customers, and multiple technical disciplines to solve complex problems.
  • Participate in architecture, reliability, scaling, testing, operations, and software delivery activities.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: experience leading large, fast-moving projects and solving ambiguous or undefined challenges.
  • Preferred: experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services and client software.
