Responsibilities
- Develop architecture, frameworks, and rich-client enterprise web applications using .NET and Angular.
- Build secure, robust, transactional applications using object-oriented design and service-oriented architectures.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization across Microsoft technologies.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, document, and technically evolve application functions.
- Refactor WinForms applications into browser-based application stacks using automated tools and AI.
- Deploy applications in Azure and contribute to application security, infrastructure blueprints, and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, functional analysts, business analysts, engineering managers, and distributed development teams.
- Review functional specifications, including functional test descriptions and acceptance criteria.
- Support hiring, identify technical gaps and requirements, and recommend improvements to system efficiency and functionality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience in the Microsoft stack.
- Experience with SOA, Domain Driven Development, application modernization, and building interoperable application features.
- Experience with Azure, .NET 6.0 or later, ASP.NET MVC4 or later, WebAPI, and SQL Server.
- Strong programming skills in C#, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Extensive experience with client-side and server-side web development and single-page applications using Angular 14 or later.
- Strong knowledge of application authentication and authorization, infrastructure blueprints, and DevOps.
- Experience working in a science-based industry is required.
- Strong documentation, process improvement, design patterns, and design pattern implementation knowledge are preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science and engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Microsoft Certifications in Solutions Development are preferred.
