Responsibilities
- Build and ship production mobile applications and customer experiences for iOS and Android.
- Work across mobile clients, APIs, services, and data considerations as needed to deliver outcomes.
- Own features end to end from ambiguous problem definition through launch, instrumentation, and post-launch iteration.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering peers to shape solutions and connect technical decisions to customer and business impact.
- Support production systems, participate in on-call rotations, and use observability and operational signals to guide improvements.
- Use AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day engineering while maintaining accountability for quality, correctness, and customer experience.
- Collaborate effectively across functions and communicate clearly in written, verbal, and asynchronous environments.
Requirements
- Significant experience building and shipping production mobile applications on iOS and/or Android.
- Depth in one mobile platform and working familiarity with the other, including the ability to reason about cross-platform experiences and backend-connected issues.
- Experience working across the stack, including mobile clients, APIs, services, and data considerations.
- Experience supporting production systems, participating in on-call rotations, and using observability and operational signals.
- Demonstrated ownership of features from ambiguous problem definition through launch and post-launch improvement.
- Strong technical, product, and business judgment with the ability to connect engineering decisions to customer and company impact.
- Clear written and verbal communication and effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools while remaining accountable for quality, correctness, and customer experience.
