Base Salary
$182k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and support DevOps strategies and continuous delivery pipelines with cross-functional teams.
- Define and implement the infrastructure, tools, and processes required for continuous delivery.
- Identify issues that could prevent successful delivery of services or solutions.
- Help mature continuous delivery practices and implement processes supporting high availability and quality.
- Design and build infrastructure for existing and upcoming products.
- Plan infrastructure maintainability and identify weaknesses in the environment.
- Identify technologies that improve automation.
- Document infrastructure configuration and best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on SaaS delivery experience with AWS or GCP systems, including incident response.
- Experience automating build, test, package, release, and configuration management.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix fundamentals and strong debugging skills.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, NodeJS, Go, or another scripting language.
- Experience creating and managing monitoring, metrics, and logging systems.
- Recent hands-on experience creating and managing containerized deployments with Kubernetes.
- Demonstrable experience with networks, security, load balancers, and DNS.
- Commitment to high code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
