Responsibilities
- Design and build cloud infrastructure from initial architecture through deployment and scale.
- Establish cloud architecture standards, infrastructure best practices, and foundational technical decisions.
- Build and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, observability, and logging systems.
- Design and maintain secure cloud networking, access controls, and database infrastructure.
Requirements
- Approximately 5 to 12 years of experience, including at least 5 years building and operating production cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, storage, compute, and managed services.
- Production experience architecting and managing Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar tools.
- Experience with cloud or data infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, security, and access control.
- Experience designing relational and NoSQL database infrastructure at scale.
- Ability to make architectural decisions and build from scratch in an early-stage or high-growth environment, with a stable employment history.
- Experience with data pipelines, knowledge graphs, graph databases, or AI and machine learning infrastructure is beneficial.
