Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own critical risk outcomes across CDP’s payment platform, including fraud loss and user friction.
- Develop expertise in global payment systems and CDP products/APIs.
- Design and build risk decisioning systems, including policy engines and machine learning models.
- Architect and implement high-throughput data pipelines for risk detection and monitoring.
- Develop advanced detection capabilities using machine learning and AI systems.
- Lead innovation in risk and fraud technology through research and production systems.
- Contribute to the technical community through publications and engineering blog posts.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building real-time risk/fraud detection systems at scale.
- Proficient in designing and maintaining production services in a service-oriented architecture.
- Knowledge of payment risk, including chargebacks and payment fraud typologies.
- Experience with rules engines and ML-based risk scoring.
- Familiarity with cross-border payment flows and multi-currency settlement.
- Leadership skills to develop other engineers and influence risk strategy.
- Ability to use generative AI tools responsibly in daily workflows.
