Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and API management platform.
- Own projects from design through deployment, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Build and maintain large-scale distributed and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Work with cloud-based architectures, microservices, databases, messaging systems, and deployment infrastructure.
- Debug complex technical issues and make data-driven engineering decisions.
- Mentor other engineers and collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience with Java and multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Substantial experience with SQL Server and MySQL or other top-tier relational databases.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, or Go.
- Familiarity with application deployment using Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team and contribute to a remote culture.
