Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services for post-trade systems.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and other software development lifecycle activities.
- Develop and maintain automated testing tools and perform unit, system integration, and user-acceptance testing support.
- Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Collaborate with business users to deliver solutions meeting functional requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and production-support materials.
- Support production releases, system monitoring, on-call activities, performance tuning, automation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT application development and software development lifecycle activities, preferably in the financial industry and including medium- to large-scale projects.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, Python, object-oriented design principles, and database technologies on Linux platforms.
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, or equivalent source-control, CI/CD, and testing tools.
- Strong written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, including the ability to interpret complex functional requirements and develop flexible solutions.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a System Analyst position.
