Responsibilities
- Develop services and features that improve how scientists analyze omics data on Cloud Data Lab.
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians to identify functionality and technical requirements for current and developing bioinformatics tools.
- Design core functions that scientists and users can use to create interoperable bioinformatics solutions.
- Coordinate with engineers and leadership to manage and prioritize projects.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of industry experience designing and writing software in rigorous engineering environments.
- 3–6 years of experience with some of Python, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Industry experience developing complex functions for a data-driven software offering.
- Practical understanding of computer science and system design principles.
