Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Ship production backend code while learning the codebase, product, and banking domain.
- Own major engineering projects from initial design through production as an individual contributor.
- Translate complex financial and banking requirements into reliable systems that operate at scale.
- Make system design, data modeling, and architecture decisions for production services.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and clients to evolve core banking capabilities.
- Build simple, maintainable automation that reduces recurring manual work.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in an early-stage or small startup.
- Experience shipping production software in banking, financial systems, or core infrastructure at scale.
- Track record of independently designing and delivering major projects, including architecture and data-modeling decisions.
- Strong ownership, sound engineering judgment, and ability to work effectively in new domains without a playbook.
- Interest in core banking systems and financial infrastructure.
