Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD solutions for efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Develop infrastructure automation, deployment processes, and operational workflows.
- Support containerized application environments and platform capabilities.
- Improve deployment reliability, observability, platform stability, and system visibility.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
- Contribute to platform security, resilience, disaster recovery, backup, availability, and service continuity initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure challenges.
- Promote DevOps standards, operational excellence, engineering maturity, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data professionals, product stakeholders, and platform teams across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Mentor colleagues and promote automation and reliability practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes-based platforms, including Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code and automation practices.
- Experience operating production workloads in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability principles and experience troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system reliability concepts.
- Experience supporting modern software development teams and automating repetitive operational tasks through scripting and tooling.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.
- A relevant master's degree and certifications in Cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, Platform Engineering, or Security are advantageous.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, platform engineering, developer experience initiatives, API Gateway, NGINX, cloud storage, data-intensive applications, secure software delivery, sustainability or financial services environments, architecture discussions, and mentoring is desirable.
