Responsibilities
- Work with engineers and product managers to envision and deliver organization-wide engineering services.
- Create Kubernetes infrastructure and design continuously reconciled systems using imperative and declarative code.
- Improve CI/CD processes and introduce engineering automation and efficiency improvements.
- Enhance observance of and propose enforcement mechanisms for engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify business goals and technical requirements and implement solutions.
Requirements
- Strong foundational understanding of computer science through pursuit of a bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Programming knowledge in one or more object-oriented languages such as C#, C++, or Java.
- Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and develop an understanding of them.
- Experience with Golang, Kubernetes, internships, multi-person projects, or open-source contributions is a bonus.
- Inclination toward best practices and community trends, along with humility and a desire to learn.
