Responsibilities
- Support applications in live operation, including on-call support for users, issues, and escalations.
- Integrate microservices and applications using cloud-native architecture.
- Build working relationships with the user community.
- Automate processes and improve system resilience within a DevOps team.
- Run performance and benchmarking tests, analyze results, and recommend system improvements.
- Troubleshoot defects and incidents and follow up on resolutions with the development team.
- Evolve applications toward cloud-native best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of system integration and automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Spinnaker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Helm, REST, and JSON.
- Experience supporting products in a DevOps environment, including technical leadership.
- Knowledge of Bash and Python scripting.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Cloud-native experience, preferably with microservice-based architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Neo4j graph database.
- Experience developing applications with Java and Java-based frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Passion for learning new technologies and embracing change.
