Responsibilities
- Develop robust and maintainable software using established software development practices.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Optimize the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.
- Interact directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to share software design and solution ideas.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership, scientific papers, and conference presentations on behalf of BCG X.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a master's or PhD program in Computer Research Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Software Development, or a related field.
- Provide academic certificates including A-level, bachelor's, and master's documentation.
- Demonstrated passion for software development and large-scale data analytics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English at the C1/C2 level.
- Problem-solving ability, intellectual curiosity, and comfort working across industries and topics.
- Knowledge of Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
