Responsibilities
- Review requirements, user stories, and design specifications to identify test scenarios, quality risks, and coverage gaps.
- Design and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
- Perform manual and automated testing of desktop applications and connected device ecosystems.
- Execute integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, end-to-end, user acceptance, performance, usability, reliability, and security testing.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
- Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the SDLC/STLC in collaboration with technical and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support release validation, quality reporting, and risk assessment.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing with strong hands-on test automation experience.
- Strong experience testing desktop applications.
- Hands-on experience with Ranorex or similar automation tools.
- Experience with Python, C#, or other programming and scripting languages.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps and test automation best practices is preferred.
- ISTQB certification is preferred.
