Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design, development, and delivery of complex features from concept through deployment.
- Architect scalable and maintainable systems across the stack and implement scalable systems and APIs.
- Build and configure protective systems, processes, software, and networks to secure customer and internal data.
- Mentor and guide engineers while promoting strong engineering practices and continuous learning.
- Conduct and lead code reviews focused on quality, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with leadership, product, and design to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Introduce tools, frameworks, and processes that improve development speed and maintainability.
- Partner with leadership to set technical direction, improve workflows, and prioritize work.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a senior or leadership capacity.
- Full proficiency with modern backend and infrastructure technologies such as Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, service meshes, and Terraform.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable systems and APIs.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach engineering teams in collaborative, early-stage environments.
- Strong focus on testing, maintainability, performance optimization, and security.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic startup environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
