Base Salary
$148k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain mission-critical analytics infrastructure.
- Develop tooling for provisioning and using data platform infrastructure.
- Write technical design documents and high-quality production code.
- Create and operate large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Review engineers’ designs and code.
- Provide technical mentorship across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in a software engineering discipline.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience provisioning infrastructure with Terraform or a similar infrastructure-as-code tool.
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud computing environment.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, OLTP and OLAP databases, and high-volume data processing and storage systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, continuous learning, adaptability, and persistence in solving difficult problems.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $148,000–$222,000 across U.S. locations, with potential bonus, equity, sign-on payments, and health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits.
- The role may require up to 10% travel for onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events.
