Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain basic to moderately complex application code using front-end or back-end programming languages.
- Analyze existing applications and formulate logic, procedures, flowcharts, code, and debugging solutions.
- Create program specifications, application documentation, implementation plans, and other software development deliverables.
- Perform code analysis, unit testing, validation, debugging, corrective measures, and issue escalation.
- Apply development procedures, methodologies, application standards, and PCI security compliance practices.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams on internal and external client software solutions.
- Recommend improvements to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically at least 2 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Knowledge of two or more modern enterprise programming languages, APIs, external services, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: 4 or more years of professional coding, design, development, and data analysis experience.
- Preferred: experience with IBM Rational Tools.
