Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and deploy sophisticated AI agents using Google Vertex AI and the Google Agent SDK.
- Develop and optimize agent behaviors with a focus on reliable tool-calling and multi-step reasoning.
- Design and implement complex system instructions and few-shot prompting for claims logic.
- Drive reusable patterns for cloud-native, AI-enabled backend systems.
- Implement stateful orchestration patterns with human review breakpoints.
- Ensure compliance and data protection by implementing input/output guardrails.
Requirements
- Expert Python developer with skills in frameworks like LangChain and PydanticAI.
- Hands-on experience with the Gemini model family and Google Agent SDK.
- Deep experience with the Vertex AI Python SDK, particularly in reasoning and function calling.
- Proven ability in prompt engineering to ensure deterministic outputs.
- 8+ years of full-stack experience with a focus on backend systems.
- Mastery of AI-enhanced development tools to drive team velocity.
