Base Salary
$121k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation systems that orchestrate package creation, test generation, and container image building.
- Develop LLM-integrated agentic pipelines for manifest generation, test scaffolding, validation, prompt architectures, evaluation loops, and quality gates.
- Write production Go for CLI tools, services, and integrations.
- Build test generators, validation frameworks, and other quality automation that improves customer reliability.
- Contribute technical ideas and input to the squad roadmap.
- Collaborate with distributed teammates across the US, Canada, Europe, and India.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
- Strong Go programming skills.
- Experience using AI and LLMs to generate, review, and test code.
- Systems design experience with loosely coupled, scalable systems and pragmatic trade-offs.
- Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or automation platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker, OCI, container registries, and Kubernetes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, autonomy, and ability to collaborate across time zones.
- Must be based in the US or Canada.
- Preferred experience includes maintaining or contributing to a Linux distribution such as Wolfi, Red Hat, or Ubuntu; maintaining many production services; contributing to open source; and familiarity with software supply chain security, SBOMs, provenance, and signing.
- Preferred experience includes melange, apko, Wolfi, FedRAMP, FIPS, or STIG.
