Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Playwright, Katalon Studio, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
- Automate web, API, integration, regression, certification, batch-interface, file-exchange, and business-workflow test scenarios.
- Partner with functional testing teams to identify automation candidates and improve regression coverage.
- Execute automated suites, analyze failures, debug issues, and coordinate defect resolution with development teams.
- Integrate automated suites into continuous testing pipelines and contribute to framework enhancements, reusable libraries, coding standards, and automation best practices.
- Prepare execution reports, coverage metrics, and quality dashboards.
- Support SIT, UAT, and release validation activities through automated regression testing.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in test automation engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Playwright and/or Katalon Studio, or equivalent code-first automation tools such as Selenium.
- Experience developing automation frameworks, reusable components, and automated regression suites.
- Strong knowledge of UI automation, API automation, and integration testing.
- Experience validating REST APIs, JSON/XML payloads, and service integrations.
- Hands-on knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
- Experience with SIT and large-scale integration testing programs.
- Exposure to Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automation lifecycle management.
- Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar test management and defect-tracking tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
