Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, analyze, implement, test, enhance, maintain, and document complex programs, systems, databases, and reports.
- Evaluate requests for new or modified programs and systems for feasibility, resource requirements, compatibility, and computer capabilities.
- Detect and correct program errors and solve data, database, system, and report problems.
- Recommend data sources and methods to visualize and validate data.
- Develop, recommend, evaluate, and approve specifications for databases, solutions, and reports.
- Use stored procedures, user-defined functions, and production processes for automation.
- Champion verification and validation of databases, program results, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Serve as a data and business-process subject matter expert and provide performance and security insights for data technology.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Management Information Systems, or another relevant field plus five years of relevant experience, or nine years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Five years of experience in data analysis.
- Five years of experience with SQL or other relational database system tools.
- Five years of experience in solution development and programming.
- Advanced experience in iterative application development and intermediate abilities with data technologies such as BI and database platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication, planning, organizational, teamwork, and consulting skills.
- Preferred experience with Teradata and/or SQL Server.
- Preferred ETL development experience and experience developing and maintaining stored procedures and triggers.
- Preferred claims data experience.
