Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cycles for features, user flows, edge cases, and regression scenarios.
- Design detailed test scenarios and test cases across functional, regression, integration, performance, and UI layers.
- Build and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Perform API testing and automate API test cases where applicable.
- Integrate and maintain reliable automated tests in CI/CD pipelines with reporting and failure analysis.
- Support TDD and BDD practices and contribute to QA process and automation framework improvements.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams on quality and release processes.
- Identify, report, track, and verify bugs using Jira.
- Analyze test results, identify risks, and provide actionable insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of QA experience, including 2 or more years in automated testing.
- Strong manual testing, test case design, and SDLC/STLC knowledge.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress.
- Ability to write and debug scripts in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps practices, TDD, and BDD.
- Experience with Jira, Git-based systems such as Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Mobile testing or cross-browser testing experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams is preferred.
