Base Salary
$132k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business, stakeholder, and technical requirements and assist with evaluating existing software solutions.
- Develop and configure software components and applications that meet functional, non-functional, scalability, availability, and maintainability requirements.
- Design and implement REST APIs and scalable backend systems for high-volume data processing.
- Build automation scripts and CI/CD processes for deployment, testing, and repetitive tasks.
- Implement telemetry and create monitoring dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Deploy applications in cloud or containerized environments, including Kubernetes.
- Create and execute test cases, perform regression testing, identify defects, and troubleshoot application performance and availability issues.
- Conduct software maintenance, re-engineering, log analysis, performance analysis, and evaluation of software change requests.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Enterprise Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience coding in at least one object-oriented language: Kotlin or Java.
- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
- Experience creating monitoring dashboards with Grafana and Prometheus.
- Experience auditing data using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience persisting and manipulating data in a NoSQL database.
- Experience testing with JUnit and Mockito.
- Experience building and maintaining services using Spring Boot.
- Experience deploying applications in cloud or containerized environments, including Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and designing scalable backend systems for high-volume data processing.
- No specific years of professional experience are required; any amount of professional experience with the required skills is accepted.
