Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable automated test scripts, libraries, and utilities primarily using Python.
- Integrate automated test coverage, validation gates, and health checks into CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI or Jenkins.
- Write maintainable code for functional, integration, regression, and system testing across Exegy products.
- Support the use of Claude and Gemini for test generation, log analysis, and diagnostic workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint activities, and technical discussions.
- Document test results, framework usage, and bug reports clearly.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge and hands-on experience using Python through coursework, personal projects, research, or prior internships.
- Exposure to C++ or Linux environments is a plus.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented design, Git, and reusable code components.
- Interest in financial technology, trading systems, market data, and the broader SDLC.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
