Mercedes-Benz Tech InnovationResponsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using modern AI technologies.
- Develop and test prototypes, applications, automation solutions, intelligent assistants, and agent systems based on Large Language Models and Generative AI.
- Create scripts, tools, and software applications that automate recurring tasks and improve business and development processes.
- Integrate AI services, APIs, and cloud services into existing systems and applications.
- Analyze processes and requirements and identify suitable software, automation, and AI use cases.
- Evaluate and practically test new technologies, frameworks, tools, and approaches in AI Engineering, Generative AI, and software development.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and business teams to turn requirements and innovative ideas into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Currently studying computer science, software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or a comparable subject.
- Strong interest in software development, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
- Good programming skills in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
- Initial practical experience with AI-supported software development or modern development tools is advantageous.
- Interest in Generative AI, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Agentic AI, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, OpenAI APIs, or Azure AI Services is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Git, GitHub, or comparable version-control systems and a basic understanding of modern software architectures and development processes.
- Analytical, conceptual, independent, structured, reliable, and curious approach to work.
- Very good German and English language skills.
