  • Define identity, authentication, secret-management, and least-privilege governance for autonomous security agents.
  • Lead the development of self-healing systems and agents that identify, test, and deploy fixes for vulnerability classes.
  • Architect secure agent deployment infrastructure, including sandboxing, prompt-injection defenses, and RAG data-leakage prevention.
  • Design and implement multi-agent orchestration layers using LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or custom multi-agent frameworks.
  • Develop the multi-year roadmap for shifting security engineering toward human-in-the-loop autonomous operations.
  • Evaluate agentic security platforms and LLM-native security tools from proof of concept through production.
  • Build agents for dynamic, recursive threat modeling of microservices and cloud architectures.
  • Mentor Security and Engineering teams and influence the organization’s approach to building and securing autonomous systems.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on technical security experience.
  • Proven track record of shipping complex distributed software in Python or Go at a Staff level.
  • Deep production experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, and AutoGPT.
  • Strong understanding of stateful, multi-turn agentic loops and autonomous tool-calling.
  • Authoritative knowledge of AI security risks, including the OWASP LLM Top 10, and experience building semantic firewalls, LLM guardrails, or early-warning systems for agents.
  • Deep understanding of AWS and Kubernetes cloud-native architectures for secure, scalable autonomous execution environments.
  • Experience building or extending IAM/IGA systems for non-human autonomous entities, including workload identity and agent-specific tokens.
  • Experience embedding AI agents into CI/CD pipelines for complex reasoning and security automation.
  • Ability to influence engineering leadership, develop technical roadmaps, and communicate agentic security concepts to executives and junior engineers.
  • Systems-thinking approach to security and rigorous treatment of prompt engineering as a logic and control-flow discipline.

Benefits

  • Base pay is listed at $168,560.00–$231,770.00 USD annually, with potential eligibility for equity and/or bonus compensation.
  • The position is based in Procore’s Austin, Texas office.
