Responsibilities
- Design and execute OTA software update test cases on HIL benches, lab vehicles, and prototype vehicles, including download, installation, reboot, and rollback workflows.
- Collect logs, reproduce OTA failures, support root cause analysis, and verify fixes with systems and development teams.
- Write and maintain Python-based automated test scripts to improve test repeatability and reduce manual effort.
- Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of HIL environments and vehicle-integration rigs.
- Collaborate with software and systems teams to validate vehicle functionality before and after OTA updates.
- Maintain reusable test cases, document test results, and preserve traceability to requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with graduation by December 2026.
- Basic Python programming skills and familiarity with the Linux command line.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills, with an interest in embedded systems and automotive software testing.
- Interest in the automotive or EV sectors and commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Understanding of automotive network architectures and CAN, LIN, or Automotive Ethernet is preferred.
- Experience with Vector CANoe, PCAN, Jira, or Polarion is preferred.
- Experience with embedded Linux, Android, or QNX is preferred.
- Participation in engineering projects such as SAE or FSAE and experience with Git are preferred.
